Hi folks,

Anyone here (in the know) also beta testing the OneCare?
I'd be interesting in know if MSAS will be added into
OneCare or if it will be "silent" like the anti-virus
they just slipped into OneCare?

Need help with the OneCare newsgroup, it's particularly
confusing to find and use...(So okay, I'm old and slow)

Any ideas?

Tks,

RobbieA

Microsoft AntiSpyware is a different security solution from Microsoft
OneCare, one major difference would be that MSAS will be free to all
licensed Windows users through Genuine Advantage, while Microsoft OneCare
will come at a cost and include all of the Microsoft AntiSpyware
technologies plus more automated advanced features.

OneCare is not a public beta and shouldn't be discussed here.

As I recall the groups are not HTML, and are available via NNTP only. The
major hudle is setting up (and remembering) a password, which can take time
to get put in place.

You should go over what is posted at the beta site with regards to how to
set up the groups, and write to the management alias if you continue to have
trouble.

Hi Bill,

Thanks to you and Andre for the info.

Sorry, especially to Monitor, please accept my apologies,
I'll never mention it again here.
