MSAS 1.0.701 hangs

Just upgraded to MSAS 1.0.701, and rebooted (Windows XP Pro SP2). The
MSAS icon appears in the systray, but when I double-click it, the splash
screen appears, and remains. The application does not open. The splash
screen is whited out once another application is opened over it.

I did an upgrade over the previous version; I will try to uninstall,
then install from scratch.

Uninstall, reboot, then clean install fixed the problem.

I did an upgrade from .615 and had no issues except the usual long startup.

Me too - installed over 615 with no problems - used Ccleaner first.
