MSACCESS.EXE load error

P

Patrice Stewart

I have tried to initate MS Access for the first time since upgrading to
Microsoft Office 2003 Profession and get the following message:

"Can't find the database you specified, or you didn't specify a database at
all. Specifiy a valid database name in the command line, and include a path
if necessary."

I can't seem to find a way around this problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

well theres one way -- uninstall/reinstall

another way is check the startup folder in the office folder, there may
be a file in there causing that. you may want to double check the link
your clicking on to initate the program. It sounds like your click on
an exisiting database file that doesnt exist. you may also want to try
getting a old database file and right click on, then you can open with
<access 2003> see if that works.
