There seems to be a contradiction of information regarding what operating system
supports Active Accessibility SDK Tool 2.0.
On the web, it states version 2.0 supports Windows 2000, however in the SDK
documentation, it says that it does not support Windows 2000 and version 1.3
should be used. However, on the download page of the web, it states that version
1.3 is only for Windows 95.
I'm using Windows XP, and my Oleacc.dll version is 4.2.5406. It does not fit the
categories for MSAA version 1.3 or 2.0, according to the SDK for 2.0. I am
developing a program for Windows 2000, however, which has Oleac.dll version
4.2.3100, which fits for MSAA version 1.3, according to the MSAA 2.0 SDK.
Is it possible to develop the program in Windows XP, for Windows 2000 platform?
Also is it possible to use the MSAA COM interface in Visual Basic 6.0?
Any advice would be most appreciated.
cheers,
Mayu
P.S: please email any responses, thnks!
