MS works 6.0 word processor

I copied a Works document from another computer. I think it was a MS works
4.0 Windows 95 or a Windows 98 word processor. When I try to open it on my XP
using a Works 6.0 I get an error message which reads,"Cannot load word for
windows 6.0 files" What does this mean and can I somehow add a driver which
allows me to read this document, which by the way is in Rich Text ?
Thanks,
Toemas

I don't use Works but if you look at the install options then it may give
the options to add different filetypes to the standard ones offered by the
program. Add those extra that you think you need- which seems to be the Word
conversion- select the right one as there have been a few. Alternatively you
could ask the document originator to resave it into a different format that
you can read.
To find out more look in the help area on your program or go to the relevant
newsgroup, this one is for Windows XP not for Works.
