Hi

When I copy and paste documents from MS word to FP 2003
there is a lot of word formatting which screws up the
view like the font size and other alignments
is there a good work around for this?

Try dragging the document file into FP...if that doesn't work....Copy/Paste text into Notepad, then Copy/Paste into FP.

Alternate method Copy from Word, then Paste Special into FP...sometimes that works ok.

IS there not a quicker method you loose all the
formatting when copying it to notepad
being that both of these are MS products??

No, it takes time and patience - there is no quick way to do it. the formatting
problem will always be there.

Yes, if you're doing webpages, you should really do all the work in Frontpage
itself, and avoid cut-and-paste from Word for converting documents to HTML

There's no really easy way around this.

Not really. Not if you want clean html pages.
