I use MS Word and work only occasionally, so I'm not an expert, to say
the least. So I am hoping someone can help me out. I have a journal
that I update daily that is a MS Word document. Each time I open it the
top of the first page is displayed. Then I have to go to the end
(Cntl-END works) to make additions. What I would like to have the file
do is open at the last entry (the bottom of the document). Is there any
way to make this happen? Thanks.

Open the document
Select Tools-Macro-Record Macro
Name it AutoOpen and click OK
Press Ctrl-End and then stop the recorder
Save the document

You have now created an AutoOpen macro that takes you to the end of the
document each time it is opened

Thanks, Mark. That works perfectly. It will save me some time.
