MS Word hyperlinks do not work in FrontPage

Guest

I wrote an FAQ (with lots of hyperlinks placed in the same document) in MS
Word, opened it as html in FrontPage2003, saved it but MS Word hyperlinks do
not work in FrontPage. In Word I used in-built styles (Heading2, 3...) so I
did not have to create bookmarks before creating hyperlink.

Any remedy for preserving the hypelinks in FrontPage for a document created
in Word? Thx

You may want to review the compatibility of Word doc on the web at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...08-B3F0-4921-815A-DEE8B1A98129&displaylang=EN

IMHO Recreate the whole doc in FP to get decent supported html

Have you tried copy and pasting? This is not always successful, or the best
way to do it.

The better way is to create the page you want in Frontpage to begin with.

If you can use Word, then you could use Frontpage easily enough to do the
same thing (there is not a steep learning curve for the basics such as
inserting hyperlinks ) in the basic way to create a few hyperlinks.

You don't mention whether you have access readily available to Frontpage or
why you're using Word to begin with (I assume this is because you don't have
Frontpage available to use all the time and you are just doing it in Word
because that is your best alternative).
