MS Updates failure Errors 0xf200 and 0xf201

Earlier today I had to repair my OS using the installation/repair CD.

After that was completed I went to the MS Update website to see about
downloading and installing the updates that were loss during the OS repair.

The download and install of the MS installation tool was successful and I
restarted my computer.

After that I tried to download and install the 77 updates. About midway
through the download I mistakenly cancelled the download (yes, I am an idiot).

Then I went back to the MS Update website to start again. The download
appeared to be working, but the installation failed. Only the successful
installation of the MS Update Installer appears on the history page.

None of the failed updates appear on the history page.

I tried again, unsuccessfully.

I checked the computer's log for one of the updates and found error messages
0xf200 and 0xf201.

I have no idea what to try next.

Show hidden files, folders, and system files:

Go to Start > Run > type in

net stop wuauserv
Click OK
Using Windows Explorer [Start>All Programs>Accessories]
navigate to WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution
Drag SoftwareDistribution to the Recycle Bin
Empty the Recycle Bin
Close Windows Explorer

Now download these files and save them, do NOT run them yet:

Windows Update Agent [x86]
http://download.windowsupdate.com/v7/windowsupdate/redist/standalone/WindowsUpdateAgent30-x86.exe

KB927891
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=7A81B0CD-A0B9-497E-8A89-404327772E5A

When the downloads are finished double click
WindowsUpdateAgent30-x86.exe to install the WUA
Then install KB927891
Restart the system

After the system restarts make sure that the Automatic Updates service
is running. Right click the Task Bar, choose Task Manager.
Click the Processes tab
Look for wuauclt.exe under 'Image Name'
If it's listed, the AU service is Started
If not, right click My Computer on the Desktop or Start Menu and choose
Manage
Click on Services and Applications in the left frame
Double click Services in the right frame
Double click Automatic Updates
Ensure that the Startup type drop down window is set to Automatic
If the service was not started under Service status, click the Start button
Click Apply, OK if any changes were made
Close the console
