MS support is so fuctup. They try to avoid helping with problems. Newsgroup
help tries to make me feel that the problem is with the user, rather than
giving any real help.

Without knowing what the problem you are having is, we cannot help.
Newsgroup help is all volunteer, and only very rarely visited by MS
employees.

If you tell us what the problem is, we can usually help you fix it, even if
it is a user fault.

According to the research of Jeff Blause of the University of
Minnesota in 84% of the support calls to support.microsoft.india the
problem was between the two ears.
:-)

Post your problem, and chances are we will be able to help. Unless
it's just fuctup (let's spell that carefully), in which case a
concrete bunker and lots of supplies might be your best course of
action. :-)

Problem is I spend an hour trying to get to a point to actually post a
question. If I spell it out, my post will be delete.
MS makes Billions on their software and then leaves the support up to
vollenters (sp). I appreciate the help but why is it so hard,

Why does this page take 60 - 90 sec to load?

Foul language, even when it is thinly disguised, is seldom a good way to
encourage others to want to come to your aid.

Blaming others for your problems is also a tactic that tends to discourage
others who might otherwise want to help.

Some things you can do to ENCOURAGE assistance include:

identifying the product for which you need assistance
stating clearly and concisely the nature of the problem you are encountering
describing error messages, if any
describing the steps you yourself have previously tried in attempting to
correct the problem

The MVP volunteers are amongst the finest experts in the world. Microsoft
regularly asks us for our opinions and to test their products. Often, we are
highly paid professionals. All of us are here because we want to give back
some of the good fortune we have had. That said, you still haven't presented
your problem.

You are also posting from a web browser interface instead of a dedicated
NNTP news client. As a result, you have to deal with all the other problems
that a web browser has. If you want a faster interface, use a news reader
like Outlook Express, Windows Mail, or Agent. All of them are orders of
magnitude faster than a web browser.
