Hi,

AD cannot be contacted on a SBS box after running the Internet
Connection Wizard....attempting to switch over to a 2nd NIC with ADSL
connection, from a dial up connection.

Lsass.exe process is running 99% of CPU so it's slow to do anything.

I have a SBS2000 P3-1000 512MB 2x18GB IDE with GBspace
A single NIC 192.168.16.2 G/w 0.0.0.0 DNS 192.168.16.2 192.168.16.2
second NIC is Dial up DDNS assigned

I have removed the second NIC and tried to run Netdiag /fix and
/registerdns but just fails. with 'DNS test . . . . . . . . . . . . .
: Failed
[FATAL] File \config\netlogon.dns contains invalid DNS entries.
[FATAL]
No DNS servers have the DNS records for this DC registered.'.
--I cannot see any netlogon.dns file

See the output of Netdiag /fix -- ==
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>netdiag /fix

Hi John,

The netlogon.dn* files should be located at %SystemRoot%\System32\Config\

To resolve this issue:

1. Stop the Netlogon service.

2. Rename the Netlogon.dns file to Netlogon.old, and then rename the
Netlogon.dnb file to Netlogon.old2.

3. Start the Netlogon service or restart your computer.
