MS Photo Info Installation

I had to install .Net Framework 3.0, then MS Photo Info installed.
Before installing .Net3, be sure to read:

That's interesting when you consider that
..NET Framework 3.0 is not supposed to
be a requirement of the program. Did you
previously have .NET Framework 2.0 installed?

I have .Net1 and .Net2 installed and all the required XPSP2 updates.

i tried to install .NET 3.0 but it installs, installs, installs .....

The Programm says something like (German Version): "The
Installing-Components are loading. This Act can take many minutes"

but after now over 2 hours the bar didnt really move on but the was still
running on 100% cpu, killing the process wasn't possible, now tested it after
a reboot again ... the same thing
