MS Photo editor from Office basic 2003

Dave B

I understand I can regain my Photo Editor which I lost when I upgraded to
Office 2003 (which I don't like) by getting into Office XP. Unfortunately,
I have Office 2003 Basic Edition 2003 which I take it is different.

Is there any other way to get MS Photo Editor back into my comp?

Thx
Dave

Thanks John,
Unfortunately, that kb says to insert your Office XP CD-ROM. I guess I
don't have that. Actually never heard of it. I have the WIn XP Home disc,
of course, as well a the Office Basic 2003. Can't find MS Photo Editor in
either. Also have Win98SE, but I can't find it there either.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

Thx again
Dave

Microsoft PhotoEditor was part of the Office 97,
Office2000 and Office XP suites. It has been
replaced in Office 2003 by the Microsoft Office
Picture Manager.

So in order to have PhotoEditor, you will have
to purchase and install a version of Office as
listed above.
