I'm running Vista. I've gone into personal appearances etc...
However, when I plot a pdf file it comes out all blurry, I plot the exact
same file from an XP machine and it's perfectly fine.

Edit/Preferences/Page Display
Set Smooth Text to None.
If that setting is greyed out, deselect Use 2D GPU Acceleration.
Regards Mike.

Menu Bar - don't give me too much info
and where might I find this Menu bar?

Dave - not sure what you are after, however if you are asking about PDF
format via Office 2007 - to save Office documents in PDF (or XPS) format
requires installation of a free utility available from the Office site.

From the orginal post
"I'm running Vista. I've gone into personal appearances etc...

Well, maybe if you provide more info..
What do you mean by "plot a pdf file"? Do you mean print?
You have never clearly stated what you are doing.

Yes, plot = print
I am printing a pdf document. When I Print from my Vista PC it comes out
all blurring. When I print the same pdf document from my XP PC to the same
printer it comes out fine.

Plot = Print
When I print to the same printer I get one blurry (vista) and one clear XP.
It's a network cannon printer, setting have been altered on either pc.
