This seems like a silly question, but is it possible to view an entire picture in MS Paint rather than just a corner of it? I'm zoomed out to 100%, but it seems that this is as far as I can go, and still I only see a corner... Irritating.

why dont you try irfanview? its totally free
www.irfanview.com

and while your at it I have some great image viewers and editors for free on
my site:

Yea, I could do that, or use any other program, BUT I was just wondering about this. It would be nice, when I click on "edit" from Windows Pic and Fax viewer, to actually see the whole picture... (can't change which editing program opens up when I click on the "edit" button herel) Wish I could...

MS Paint is a simple graphic editor. What you can do is load the image. Use
Edit, Select All to place a dotted selection box around the image.

Find one corner of the image {any corner}. Place your mouse pointer on the
corner until you get a single diagonal double head line. Left click and drag
the mouse pointer into the picture. This action will reduce picture size
while maintaining proportions. Release the left button. Go back to the
corner and move the mouse pointer around the corner until you get a vertical
and horizontal double head pointer. Left click and move the image back
where you want it.

Depending on the image size, you may need to repeat the above several times
to get and image where you can view the whole image.

I know this sounds dumb, but it works. Go to Image and click on
Stretch/Skew. In the Stretch horizontal and vertical type in 50 and it will
shrink the image. If 50 isn't enough just do 50 more.

I can't seem to send this question any other way, so here goes. I have a
similar problem with paint, only worse. I managed to put all my picture
files into paint when I thought I was sending one photo to paint in order to
manipulate it there. Now everytime I try and view one picture in a picture
file, it comes up as that giant detail and I have no idea how to spring it or
any of my photos out of this Paint program.
What's weird is that if I click "view as slideshow" in my picture file, it
will do that. But clicking on a picture to view it individually only gets me
to the giant detail again.
I'm afraid I've lost all of these pictures and the ability to print them.
I could really use some help here.
Thanks
