MS Mail and Yahoo

EricS

I have a yahoo (ymail) POP account.
2 Issues

-All read emails are disappearing from my inbox at yahoo even though I
have set my property to "Leave a copy of messages on server"

-I have several subfolders in my mailbox which aren't synchronizing.
This, of course, was a blessing this evening as I did not realize I was
wiping my mailbox clean with that first problem.

Any help out there? Thanks!

Sometimes servers ignore this setting.

I guess you have figured out that pop3/smtp doesn't include synchronizing of
subfolders.

Check your settings and see if you have:
"Hide Read Messages" checked.
