MS HCL for Vista x86 and x64?

Of course, Windows Vista is not a retail product yet. But it would be
helpful if MS had an HCL for Vista x86 and x64 based on the current state
of the product. If any preliminary version of the HCL for Vista is on the
MS site I couldn't find it.

There are some other sites which have tried to compile a list of supported
hardware devices but they are not very comprehensive.

It would sure be a help when considering new hardware purchases.

The problem with creating a HAL for either Vista versions is that
compatibility is always changing in each build. the final build will
determine the compatibility for different products, and until they release
that, there isn't much Microsoft can do.

Sorry, HAL should be HCL. Windows Mail spell checked it and I wasn't paying
attention.
