MS Excel 2007 number format

Hi, every time i type a number (12) i get a return of 0.12. I find it irritating to have to type 12.0 to get a display of 12.
Appreciate help in being able to type 12 and get a display of 12.

Right click on the cell(s) that you're having a problem with and choose Format Cells. Change this to General to start with and see what you get. It sounds like a formatting problem to me. If that doesn't fix it, let me know exactly what you see in the Format Cells window.
