MS Community Newsgroup unaccessible through IE

Since a few days, I cannot get in touch with any MS Community-newsgroup
through IE. Whatever language or topic I select, I get the message "Sorry,
page not available". My system is WinXP SP2

However, two curious things occur:
1. On my 'old' PC that runs om WinME there is no problem.
2. When I use Mozilla Firefox, (as I do right now) there is no problem
either.

Has anybody any idea what's happening? Thanks - Louis
 
Does it happen with newsgroups only?
Scan your system with latest editions of spybot search and
destroy/adaware.Run them in safe mode.

Thanks - Yes, as far as I'm aware, only MS newsgroups are involved. I noted
the problem was gone when I deleted all my temp IE files so I suspected
something unhealthy. I'll run Spybot the next time when it occurs to find out
who does this trick. I'll keep you posted.
