MS Antispyware scan reads clean but..........

I have MS antispyware and the daily scan always says it is
clean.....nothing detected. Being kinda suspicious, I ran
Adaware immediately after the last scan and it came up
with the usual 38 critical spyware things it usually finds
and has to manually run and removed daily. I did have
only Avast and Adaware and usually found a couple of
trojens and 30 to 40 spyware things. In an attempt to
stop these........I added McAfee's firewall and MS
Antispyware..........since then Avast has reported up to
30 viruses and Adaware still finds the same ole same ole
everytime I run it........yet MS Antispyware scans
continue to read "no spyware found". I have searched all
the different forums and boards and can't find anyone else
having this problem. Anyone willing to address this for
me? I would appreciate it.

Is your AdAware scan finding ad/spyware, or cookies? As
noted throughout the forum, MSAS doesn't (yet) scan for
troublemaking cookies.
AdAware is not always successful at removing the spyware
it finds. Reboot into Safe Mode (hit F8 during startup)
and do another scan. Often it, and MSAS, will
successfully remove spyware in Safe mode. Try
SpySweeper's free download version, too.
Good luck.

You might find interesting my results: SpyBlocs (not
free) - 37 issues (22 cookies), SpySweeper (free) - 22
cookies (nothing else), MSAS (free, so far) - clean.

What are the names of the trojans and 30-40 spyware objects?
Is AdAware finding cookies that you think are "spyware things"?
Please post the names of the viruses that Avast is finding.
