Hi,
We've gone from MS Access '03 to MS Access 2010. I am noticing an issue. When I have an existing table in the .mdb with all fields defined as TEXT, and I import a .txt file into the existing table (appending the table during import); all fields that had a "$" or lead zeros in my .txt file, now have the "$" and the lead zero's omitted when I open the table after the import.
Am I missing something?

My first point would be to make sure that the fields in the origin and destination tables are EXACTLY the same. Make sure to check the format, subnet mask, all that stuff. If that doesn't work, could you give us a recount, step by step, option by option, if the import process?
