MS access error missing or broken reference

hi guys,
i got this error on MS access:
''Your microsoft office access database or project contains a missing or broken reference to the file dao2535.tlb version 3.5''
i read on some websites that this could be fixed by doing some things in the debugger program at the tools--> references screen. though i cannot open that screen, as it is grey on my screen and i cant click at it.
please anyone help me out!

i am quite a beginner though
