In a table, query, form, or report?

In a form or report you can just not include that field or set it to
invisible. You can also squeeze it down to a tiny dot so most people wouldn't
notice it.

In a query, uncheck the Show box for that field while in design view.

In a table, right click on a column and select Hide.

Thanks very much - that was very helpful!

In DATASHEET view:
If using a datasheet view, you will need to set the column width to 0.

If all of the normal menu items are available, an experienced user can
change that to something else and see it later. If you still need the
field to be there with a width of 0, you may want to "lock" the data
and/or disabled.

In SINGLE or CONTINUOUS View:
If you have the field as very, very small, you should probably also
make it NOT a tab stop. Probably NOT visible is best for these views.
