MS Access 2000 compatible with Oracle9i

Mike

Currently we have MS Access 2000 (SR-1) installed as part
of our standard platform; however, we are in the process
of migrating our Oracle databases from 8i to 9i (Rel. 2).
If we install the Oracle9i client and create an ODBC data
source using the 9i driver, will we experience any
problems with MS Access?

Just the usual! <g>

I run Oracle 9i and Access 2002 linked tables.
I use Create Index to ensure updatability of tables.

Joe,

What about MS Access 2000?

Thanks!

The version of Access is irrelevant. Any ODBC-compliant client should be
okay.

Thanks, Doug! I was just curious as to the supported data
types between the two databases (e.g., TIMESTAMP).
