MRxSmb Event ID 3019 after installing SP2 (WinXP)

On every machines I install the service pack 2 for Windows Xp, I get
this event ID several times in a day. It says "The redirector failed to
Determine the Connection Type".

All I found is the Article 315244 in the MS KB which says that the
symptoms is when you map a network drive to a local share. But I don't
have any network drive mapped to a local share!

So, if you have installed the sp2, do you have this event id too? Is
someone knows a bit more about that issues?

Thanks

i'm having the same issue. from what i've read, this warning can
safely be ignored, but i still thinks it's as annoying as hell.

This problem is occurring on the 6 systems running SP2 in my home
network and it's not an annoyance, it's a disaster. I can not move
large files between my systems any longer, as the network keeps
disconnecting with Event ID 3019. All large file copies are terminated
with the error message "Cannot copy file_name: The specified network
name is no longer available". The event log shows Event ID 3019 upon
termination of the copy. Although Microsoft says you can safely ignore
Event ID 3019 ... you can only ignore it if you like running your
systems without network connectivity.

If anyone encounters a fix for SP2, please let me know.
