mpg video play

I have inserted a mpg video in my PP and when it is clicked it either plays
half chopped up and pixelated or just gives me a white screen.
I have presumably done everithing right, same folderfor pp and the video
clips.

Zoltar,
Maybe the path leading to the video is too long. Try moving the presentation
and the video to a location near the C:\, reinsert the video and see if it
helps.

Usually if it's a path length problem you get no video at all but it's worth
a go.

Really sounds as if the wrong codec is being used. What sort of file is it
and where did it come from?
