Mpeg4 Upside Down

Since installing windows movie maker 2.0 when i play Mpeg4's in media player or anyother media players they play upsidedown the only way i can find to make them (kinda) play right way up is to open Movie Maker put the video on the timeline and watch it in the preview window (which is bad as mmaker uses allot of memory!

Help me!
 
I had one computer that played certain MPEG clips upside down, unless I
lowered the hardware acceleration to the 3rd position. It was ultimately
resolved by my upgrading DirectX.
