mpeg video editing ( Windows Movie Maker )

I am unable to edit .mpeg video files within Windows Movie
Maker, i have the latest version of Movie Maker, i just
need to download and install all codecs for mpeg, so can
someone please tell me where i can and how to do this, if
you need a sample of the file i need to edit then email
me, thankyou.

I basically want ALL codecs for ALL video formats so i can
edit them ALL.
