I see there have been lot of threads regarding problems
with playback of media files of varying types but with no
answers. Can anybody help.......
The problem I am having is with the playback of mpg/mpeg.
Each time an application (any application, and I have
tried quite a few) tries to play one of these files the
application is terminated and an error log is created.
Each log reports a problem with application extension
mplvm6.dll. This has only started happening since I
downloaded the latest service packs for Windows (2000) and
ran a PowerPoint (!!??) presentation. I have tried
reloading the OS ans WM9 and then reloading the service
packs and updates to no avail (I have also tried playback
without reloading the downloads).
