mp3 Tag Remover

R

Rod

Looking for a program (small, standalone preferred) that will batch remove
ID3-tags from a directory of mp3 files.
No other purpose needed, just to remove the tags.
OS = win98SE.
Any help is appreciated.

There's MP3 Tag Remover at http://www.mp3fe.com/ieindex.html but why
would you want to remove them? Handy things...

That's one ugly looking program. I would prefer something with an 'open
folder'-option instead of just drag-and-drop, but it will do the job.
Thank you for this.
tags are indeed very handy, but not when you're creating a music-quiz as I
am doing now. I forgot about the tags untill I noticed that the answers
where imbedded in the questions....

Oh, and I hate to be the one to tell you this again: good wrap/bad sig

Tag.exe by Case is a commandline utility that does that. Development was
discontinued but the program is included in tag-frontend at
<http://members.home.nl/w.speek/tag.htm>. You can also use the GUI
frontend to remove all tags as well.

Thank you for this, I guess it's the same as listed here (without the GUI):

http://www.saunalahti.fi/cse/files/

I tried that, it's nice. It's open source, the source is also listed in the
link above. But the program I realy like is here:

http://www.headstrong.de/software-id3kill.shtml

About the same size as Tag.exe, stand-alone, does what I want, I simply
couldn't ask for anything better. It has been abandoned, the last version
is 1.4.

Thanks to you and dadiOH for your replies.

I don't no either. One very strange thought crossed my mind. Maybe your sig
is good when no wrapping is needed, in other words, when your post is just
one short sentence. As that was the case in your post with the good sig
today:
