I have just got a new 384mb mp3 player. I am now looking for software which
will help me download tracks to it. It is just simple plug & play (i.e. drag
& drop the files onto the mp3 player).
I have about 13000 mp3's on a USB Hard Drive and some are ripped at 320kbs
ranging right back to 128kbs. Now, for the purpose of the mp3 player i just
want all tracks put on there to be at 128kbs. So that's the first thing i
want the mp3 software to do, convert all files for the mp3 player into
128kbs (to save space !).
Second thing i want it to do is to read and make playlists. Because my taste
in music changes nearly every week, i'd be changing the songs on there
weekly. But in a few months i might want what was on it at week 1. i.e. i
want to be able to save the different playlists for downloading to the
player depending on what i want to hear.
In a nutshell, i want to be able to create a playlist of songs which i can
load into the software, then the software should convert all the files to
128kbs (only if the file wasn't already at 128kbs !), then send them to my
player (N:/ drive).
Thanks for any input !
