MP3 file conversion

Can MP3 files be eliminted from HD in order to save space
once they have been converted to WMA files? Will this
conversion hamper CD burning for use in a portable (car)
devise if only the WMA files are retained on HD?

If you have converted MP3's to WMA then you can delete the MP3. you can
burn MP3 or WMA to Audio CD's.
