MP3/Ext Hard Drive Conflict

Hi All,

I have an MP3 player and an external hard drive and both of which connect
via a USB port. Independently, both work fine, but when I try to run them at
the same time, I can only get my computer to recognize one at a time. I've
tried switching USB ports, but that doesn't make a difference.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you,

Todd

Go into disk management (right click my computer, select manage, it will be
in the left pane) and see if the MP3 player is getting assigned a drive
letter, and if it is, that it's not E, you have to have the MP3 player
plugged in when you do this.
