WhenI download mp3's, I also pick up AlbumArt files. I want to delete these
files. I tried to searching for them under AlbumArt and *.jpg. I checked
the box so that my computer will search for system files, hidden files, sub
folders, and case sensitive files also but the search turns up no results.
How can I find these files so that I may delete them?

I downloaded Album Art Tool Release as recommended. However, it has wrecked
havoc with my music files which contain approximately 15,000 mp3's. It took
the name of the first song in the first file and gave it's attributes to each
song in the file. For example, I have a folder named "80's 90's 00's." The
name of the first song in the folder is "A Taste of Honey" by Sukiyaki. The
next 20 songs are from several albums by Bonnie Tyler, then approximately 20
songs sung by Bryan Adams, all the way down the alphabetical list to Whitney
Houston. I had previously gone through the 15,000 mp3's and, using "Advanced
Tag Editor" in Media Player, I filled in the information for each song. Now
that I have used Album Art Tool Release, each of the 200+ songs in that file
lists Sukiyaki as it's artist. Unfortunately, it did not remove the album
art.

In addition, I found no way to remove AlbumArt

I rebooted by computer and I there is no Uninstall for Album Art Tool Release
and when I attempted to utilize Album Art Tool Release in order to see if
there is a way to edit the inaccurate information, it will no longer open
folders. It does nothing at all, as if I did not click on "File" > "Open" >
"file name."

Album Art Tool Release also expect each folder to contain songs performed by
the same singer and only the same album. In my Christmas folders, I put
mp3's according to groups of artists. So Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Frank
Sinatra, Dean Martin, etc. are in one folder and Duke Ellington, Ella
Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, etc, are in another folder. Due to the fact
that the songs are in folders by grouping, Album Art Release presented me
with one error message after another until I was given a very long, encryted
message about debugging.

My eyeballs are swimming here. With time, I will be able to repair the
damage that Album Art Release caused to the ID tags but I cannot uninstall
the program because there is no Uninstall and when I went into Control Pannel
Add/Remove Programs, there is no Album Art Release program listed. When I
did a search for Album Art Release, many files, including cookies, etc.,
appeared.

I did nothing but click on folder names and the program went through my files
and did what I thought it was created to do. When I click on a folder with a
program named "Album Art Release" I expect it to do just that, remove the
AlbumArt, not change the information contained in it's tag. However, the
damage is done and I would now like to un-do the damage. I did a system
restore but it did not change the ID tag information back to what it was
prior to running Album Art Release so I will do it song by song myself.

However, I still need a way to uninstall the program because it will no
longer do anything, even after rebooting. It opens but that's all it will
do. There is no Uninstall for this program and it's not listed in my
Add/Remove Programs list. I don't need any digs, I need help.

I can see that I can add AlbumArt using this program but I have found no way
to delete AlbumArt using this program. What it does is search the internet
for album covers so that the AlbumArt can be added to the songs for that
album. If it does the reverse (separate AlbumArt from songs), I cannot see a
way nor do any of the posts at the Album Art Tool Release web site suggest
that it can be done or that the program was made for this purpose. If there
is a way to do so, please let me know.
