Why is it than when I receive some emails that the graphics do not sho
up.....all I get is a square box with a red X in the left hand corner?
Is there a way to get this or is it the mail program from the other end
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

It is probably a security feature of the application. Try right clicking and
see if it brings up a context menu with an option like "Download images".
Outlook does the same thing.

Try a mozilla email group as this is not a Windows XP issue.

I'm not sure if this will work , but click
edit/preferences/pivacy&security/images... be sure... Do not load remote
images in Mail&Newsgroups messages is unchecked
