I have the FireFox browser installed, and MS AntiSpyware
persistently detects a "Possible Browser Hijack"
as "Internet Explorer mozilla:", with no additional
information. It does not ignore it even after I
choose "Always Ignore".

Is this MSs way of getting people to stop using Mozilla-
based FireFox? If not, they need to address this problem.
If so, they should be ashamed.

I have Firefox installed, as do many others who frequent this group, I'm
sure? MSAS has never flagged it as an issue on my box, nor my wife's.

I personally do not have FireFox, but I tried to put it on just to test if
there was a problem with it and MSAS, I did not see any. After using
Firefox I decided to go back to IE6 SP2.

If you are from the server side and ask "what's the browser?", with IE, the
answer is something like "Mozilla 4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0...)". Could it
be the try of firefox to hide as IE ?

(try http://www.cnil.fr/index.php?id=123 + an french-to-english translator
if you want to test with your own PC)
