Moving website from one computer another

Robbie

Hi,

This may be a lame or repetative question, but I cannot for the life
of me find an answer, so accept my apologies :)

I'm trying to move a website created on one computer to another
computer. It doesn't seem to be working. The website files live a file
server in the office and both computers login to this file server.
Both computers also have the same permissions.

I can open the website in Frontpage2003 on the original computer it
was created on, but when I open the website on the new computer (also
with FP2003), the themes don't load, the navigation screen doesn't
load and the website is missing a lot of stuff.

How can I get the new computer to work the same way the original
computer did?

Thanks & Regards,
Robbie...

On the new computer, open the live site in FrontPage and then publish it
down to your hard drive.

Hi David,

Thanks for the response.

But the files are on a file server in the office. When the site was
created with the original computer, all the files were saved to the
file server.

If I publish from the live site back to the file server, it will
overwrite the files on the file server won't it???

Thanks & Regards,
Robbie...

If all the files are on a file server and the new PC has access to it then
just open FrontPage and choose File, Open Site and open the site on the file
server.
