Is it possible to move the 'Shared Documents' folder? Its location is
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents but I'd like to have it point
to another drive

Thanks
Mike

Hi,

I've not found anyway you can physically move that folder, unlike the
personal "MyDoc's" folders.

Hi Mike,

Read this note, originally from Keith Miller (who pointed out that TweakUi does not help in redirecting the Shared Documents and it's sub)

Mike,

You're welcome. Perhaps my utility FolderRedirector might be handy.

[The shared folders redirection automation is based on Keith Miller's instructions earlier]

1. Load Regedit
2. Browse to
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders
3. Change entry for 'Common Documents' , 'Common Music', 'Common
Pictures', 'Common Videos' to new folder location.
4. Close Regedit
5. Move existing data to new location.
