Moving system to RAID 0

Can you move an existing hard drive to Raid 0 without loosing the data. Can
you install a second hard drive them set it for RAID 0 with the initial
drive in your system with all the data. Or will you loose this information
and have to start from scratch.

Since the data has to be 'striped' across the drives in the array, you
WILL lose all original data.
