Moving System Folders to new location question

I know that for certain users you can change the My Dos
folder to other partitions or drives. I want to move the
shared folder for all users to a completely different
drive, I would just hide it and go on, but I want the
usefulness of having it show up in the My computer
section. It will be used for Firewire transfer to other
systems. There are not any other users. I am the admin. It
is Pro, with SP1. If I can do this, anytime I need to send
data quickly to another machine (links inside to their
folders), it will possible from anywhere. Whether I am
opening a WInrar file to extract (if the folder can be
moved), it will always be available, no matter the program
or options!! Any suggestions?

I went there, but there was nothing on "Special folders."
I looked under shared folders, but nothing helped, it was
only about permissions. Forgot to mention, all HDD
formatted as NTFS. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated!!
