Pretty basic question.....I want to move my router in my study from one plug socket to another so I can rearrange my comp and Hi Fi set up.
Is it OK to just unplug it and move it to another socket in the same room? I'm assuming it'll just connect back to the internet automatically. I wont unplug it from the BT socket.
Just want to make sure I don't screw up my internet connection.

Just turn the power button off and then when it's plugged into the new socket, turn it back on.
There shouldn't be any issues. It would be no different than if the power went out and then came back on.

That's what I would have expected but just wanted to check to be safe. Thanks
