Moving Programs after partioning hard drive

Just partioned my new hard drive and want tp move programs such as e-mail to
new location. What is the best way. Tried to drag and drop but just copies
the program.
 
There is no reliable way to move installed programs. Uninstall and reinstall
in the new location.
