Moving OS to a different disk

I have the OS on disk D: but want to move it to C:. I
have already backed up all data on the C: drive so I can
restore it after moving the OS. I found article 315242
which looks like it would work (involves reformatting C:
and loading a fresh OS essentially) but would mean a lot
of post-move clean up tasks. Is there any other way I
could load the OS onto C: without reformatting a disk?

thanks,

Marc

Changing the drive letter of an installed W2k/XP/W2k3
is next to impossible. Fresh install is usually just a quick.
