moving my documents folder

I am unable to move "my documents" folder to another
partition on my hard drive. When I right click, and
press the shift key to drag it from explorer, I can only
create a shortcut and not move the entire folder.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

JR,

Right-click the My Documents folder and in the box labeled Target, point it
to the path you would like to use.
