Moving FrontPage to a New Machine

I purchased a new computer and moved most of my files and software from the
old machine. I am having trouble moving FrontPage as only the files and
settings can be moved, and I misslaid the installation CD. I found the jewel
case with the license key on the back....

How can I get FrontPage onto the new computer before uninstalling it from
the old? I have no guess as to where the CD is or how long it will be before
I find it.

Suggestions?

v. 2002 was an upgrade to FP 98 (which I still have the CD for)

Install it on the new machine, and when prompted for a qualifying product insert the FP98 CD, then
select the telephone option for activation.

Good Luck...

Just copying files onto the new machine is not going to
install it. There are oodles of registry keys that are
changed or added to when FP is installed. About the only
thing you can do if you lost the original CD is to order a
replacement CD from MS

If you have the license key, and can find someone else who has an
Upgrade CD (the keys are CD _type_ specific, but not individual CD
specific), borrow and install from their CD, but enter your CD key.
This seems well within the spirit of the license you purchased with
the update. Under the circumstances, you would probably not even be in
violation of the license if you were to make and keep a copy of the
borrowed CD for future use.
