moving from W2000 to W2003 with dictionaries

I have an 800 page document that I moved from an old computer with MS Word
2000 to a new computer with MS Word 2003. I use "ignore all" and "Add" for
words that are not in the custom dictionary but those commands do not show up
anywhere in the new version of Word. I have created a new custom dictionary
but still can't get the "ignore all" or "add" commands. (I have a lot of
baseball terms in the document and should have imported my custom dictionary
used with Word 2000, but I didn't!)

Thanks

Hugh

The commands are there. You need to have a word selected which has been
tagged as misspelled for them to show up when you right-click.

I appreciate your offer of assistance but I must be terribly stupid because I
don't find anything related to the "Add" command for the existing dictionary
or to a custom dictionary, nor do I see anything about "ignore all". I
highlighted the word I want to either "ignore all" or to "add" to the
dictionary and I fail to see any command that would be helpful.

Sorry for being so dense.

Was the word marked as misspelled?

Did you right-click on it?

Mr. Kenyon,

You were correct. I was looking at a slew of grammatical corrections. When
I iintentionally misspelled a word I got the response I was looking for. I
apologize for not catching the difference between a grmmatical correction and
the dictionary before I sent you the note.

Thank you very much for your assistance and your patience.
