Moving from .Net 1.1 to 2.0 ??

Downloaded and Installed:
..NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package Beta 2 (x86)
..NET Framework 2.0 Software Development Kit (SDK) Beta 2 x86

After Installation the SDK shows up in the Start Menu, but after starting
VB.Net
the Help -> About still shows the 1.1 Framework and code snippets intended for
2.0 do not compile.

I've apparently left out something ???
