I have several folders containing correspondences (e-mail letters) on my
Hotmail, these folders are on the internet and only available to me when I am
connected to the internet. I want to be able to put these files (folders) on
a CD so that they will be available to me in the future and when I am not on
the internet. Most of my e-mail was written in Microsoft Word. Can anyone
tell me how to transfer or copy these folders to a CD on my computer? I also
want to change from “Hotmail†to Outlook I am already using Outlook in a
limited way and I have no real problems with Outlook.

Create a pst-file by File-> New-> Outlook Data File... and copy the messages
to there. You can then backup the pst-file;

If you want Hotmail as your main e-mail account type in Outlook and would
like to use all the Outlook/Hotmail features I strongly recommend
subscribing to MOOL;

subscribe: http://join.msn.com (change the site location to USA if you only
get Hotmail Plus)
