Moving files onto a CD-R

Message: For the past 2 months, i have been unable to COPY, COPY TO, or drag
sound//grpahic files onto my CD-RW drive (in my case "E"). It says,

" E:\ not accessible. Incorrect function".

Troubleshooting says that "device is working properly". When i put a cd-r
in the drive, bytes avail=0 !!!

IMAPI is "started". However, i CAN play music cds (Real One) from the
drive and CREATE music cds ON THIS DRIVE!

I just can't copy ANY kind of file onto a blank CD-R. It used to work!

PLS HELP! Thank you, Norm Vogel

Try going to Control Panel>AdminTools>Services>IMAPI CD Burning. Make
sure service is Started. Then go to MyComputer>CD-RW Drive Icon rt click
select Properties>Recording>check box Enable CD Recording on this Drive
Click Apply, Ok.

I insert a blank cd and nothing happens.
It had always worked.
What could be the problem?
Thanks, Roberto
