Hello
I have always been able to relocate files from Windows defaults through
Powertoys. I do this for backup purposes and ease of working with them.
Vista has something for changing location, called "redirect" which sounds
like the same thing, i.e. move it to save space on C drive. I follow the
instructions, and get the file where I want it to be ( on my DATA partition)
but it also leaves the file in my C:\user\Lee folder, and anything I add to
the new folder also still gets added to the original folder in C:\user\lee.
This, instead of saving space, duplicates the entries on two partitions,
like mirror image! What's up????
